Box Cricket rules
Team Format
1) Teams will consist of 7 players each side
2) The team should only have 6 players and 1 super sub at any time in the ground/field.
3) Matches will be of 6 overs per side.
4) Total 4 pools, each pool will consists of 3 teams.
5) 2 league matches for all the teams.
Out rules
1) Only Direct Catch will be considered as out
2) Ball going outside the Box directly without interference by opponent team will be considered as OUT.
3) Hit wicket will be out only for male players
4) Stumping and run out will also be considered as out.
5) No LBWs
Scoring Rules
1) In case of NO BALLS and WIDE 1 run will be given to the opponent team. (No free hit)
2) Byes and Leg Byes are not allowed (running between the wickets is required)
3) Players can score runs by running while the ball is in the ground.
4) 1 run will be given in case ball goes outside the Box/ground after some distraction (not directly). Players need to swap the side to get that run.
5) Batting Team can score 2 runs 4 runs or 8 runs by hitting the respective board on the field.
6) Batting team can get extra runs in case of over throw.
7) each batting pair can play 2 overs only , if out minus 5 runs will be given.
8) one over batting power play will be taken , in batting batting powerplay the scoring runs will be doubled for each and every ball, if the batsmen is out in batting powerplay then minus10 will be given.
9) each team has to play compulsorly 6 overs, after completion of overs final score is declared for each and every team.
Other rules
1) One Bowler can bowl only 1 over in an inning.
2) In case of Tie, Super Over will be played.
3) PROFANITY/CONSUPTIO OF ALCOHOL/ DRUNKEN TEAM MEMBERS ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED ON THE FIELD.
4) UMPIRE DECISION WILL BE FINAL AND NO ARGUMENTS WILL BE ENTERTAINED WITH THE UMPIRE
5)UMPIRE IN ANY OF THE ABOVE SITUATION MAY CALL OFF THE PLAY CONSIDERING WIN TO THE OPPONENTS TEAM.
